What happens when a dragon rider goes dragon hunting?

It was quite a normal day for Mihawk. Managing to steal a small village's livestock for the winter months as well as most of the town's gold. None of the villagers ever stood up to him cause of his sheer size. Hnnnn, maybe he should have taken some women as well, that was poor judgement on his part. Winter is coming up and that was hindsight of him to forget that part. He needed females to carry on the next generation of dragons.

He lets out a small huff and dangles himself at the cliff's edge of where his cave is at and closes his eyes. Knowing full and well that there is none that would be foolish enough to take on a dragon, especially one of his size. Perhaps when he wakes up again, he can fix his mistake.

For Rose

For whatever purpose that Rose had to go into a long complex cave system no one knows exactly. It was col outside and the deeper she went into the caves, the warmer they were. Mihawk however noticed Rose from the moment she stepped deep enough into his lair and quietly blocked off her escape routes in his dragon form. He was hungering for a mate to bring about a new generation and the woman that stepped in was the perfect candidate for such a purpose.

He is going to wait until she is a little deeper before making his move.

[He hates this place. Hates it so much. To be locked in a crate because you do not have the proper coloring. Mihawk lets out a low grumble, feathers and ears twitching at the sight of all the people coming in the pound to make themselves feel so much better. Only reason he hasn't been put down yet was that he always seem to find a way to make them forget about it. Even if it is just for a few more weeks.

He goes to make a face in mocking at some of the group of people, especially those that walk over to his cage, only to turn around and pick up a much cuter pet as a major adoption event was going on. Before he might have tried harder to gain an owner but after being returned a few times when they realize that he falls short of his race's standard and conning the wrong type of people. Feh. He can't help but to be born of these colors and sucking up to his ex owners.

Mocking lost it's joy for now and he goes at once to start preening his feathers and hair. Just because he is basically in pet jail doesn't mean he can't look his best, right.]
