AU: PET PEOPLE SEMI MEME
[He hates this place. Hates it so much. To be locked in a crate because you do not have the proper coloring. Mihawk lets out a low grumble, feathers and ears twitching at the sight of all the people coming in the pound to make themselves feel so much better. Only reason he hasn't been put down yet was that he always seem to find a way to make them forget about it. Even if it is just for a few more weeks.
He goes to make a face in mocking at some of the group of people, especially those that walk over to his cage, only to turn around and pick up a much cuter pet as a major adoption event was going on. Before he might have tried harder to gain an owner but after being returned a few times when they realize that he falls short of his race's standard and conning the wrong type of people. Feh. He can't help but to be born of these colors and sucking up to his ex owners.
Mocking lost it's joy for now and he goes at once to start preening his feathers and hair. Just because he is basically in pet jail doesn't mean he can't look his best, right.]

[But reluctantly he goes to open the door to Mihawk's cage and moves in to try and put a leash and collar on the dragon. Try would have been the proper word as Mihawk makes attempts to bite the other's hand whenever it moved too close.]

[Slender fingers gently wrap around the leash and collar in Billy Bob Baggins's hands, slowly pulling them loose from his grasp. Then, after gently pushing the younger man aside, she leans into the cage and leaves a light kiss on Mihawk's lips.]
